The Fort Lauderdale Air Show will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team along with military jet flyovers, parachute teams, civilian aerobatic acts and formation flights teams. Brew at the Zoo (May 11)

What better way to visit the zoo than with a cold beer in hand? With more than 100 craft beers and dozens of food vendors, Brew at the Zoo is one of South Beach’s premier May events. General admission includes unlimited beer samples. Even if you are not attending for the beer, there will be so many live performances that make this event very worthwhile. This year’s entertainment will feature “Locos por Juana,” a GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-nominated bilingual band that has been noticed for their fusion of reggae funk, cumbia, salsa, and rock. Redland International Orchid Show (May 17-19)

This three-day event will feature over 50 booths of colorful blooms, making it the largest annual orchid show in the country.
