As a result, they started the SCANN Foundation where they rescue children (as young as 2 years old) from the streets of Kenya. A portion of the revenues collected from the San Juan Hotel are earmarked for the over 150 children currently housed at the SCANN orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya.
