With the popularity of tapas going mainstream, it’s no wonder you’re looking to find the best restaurants in South Beach to enjoy these culinary delights. Why not enjoy these small but mighty, mini meals on a “tapas tour” with family and friends sampling many of the fine Spanish restaurants in South Beach.

The Bazaar by José Andrés

Guests begin their visit in the chic al fresco setting of the Bar overlooking the SLS pool and move indoors for dinner to one of two dining rooms. Combining Spanish cuisine with a Latin flair, the tapas menu is unique and inventive. From the potatoes with a sea urchin to the churrasco rubbed with Cuban coffee and served with passionfruit, we believe you won’t find another tapas menu as extensive as theirs.

Beaker & Gray

Named for the vessel used to mix drinks and the utensil used for plating and serving, they pride themselves in offering you quality cuisine from fresh ingredients. With a large variety of hot and cold tapas, vegan and vegetarian options as well, we have no doubt you’ll be satisfied with your tapas meal.

El Carajo

Thirty years ago, this top dining establishment started out as a humble gas station. Today it is celebrated as housing one of the best and varied selections of wine in the state of Florida. Well known for their delicious Spanish tapas, El Carajo may be a little unconventional and certainly off the beaten path, but it’s well worth the gamble to give our tapas a try!

Rincon Escondido

Billing themselves as “hard to find, impossible to forget … let yourself fall in love with us”, we have no doubt you’ll enjoy the warm and inviting atmosphere of this restaurant. With an extensive selection of cold and hot tapas on the menu, you may come in hungry, but we know you’ll leave satisfied. They accept reservations online.

Alma Grove

Spanish inspired cuisine, with an extensive tapas menu from seafood, including octopus and scallops to sweetbreads, cheeses, and steaks, this restaurant has it all. It also has an extensive wine list to complement your meal.

Madrid Tapas

A romantic Spanish restaurant with an extensive bar menu, live entertainment, and a tapas menu second-to-none. From cheese plates to paellas to octopus, shrimp, and goat cheese with grilled onions and cranberry sauce, there’s no doubt we’ve got something to satisfy everyone’s tapas taste.

Sugarcane Bar & Grill

A little oasis in Miami, they offer indoor and outdoor seating. The lushly landscaped garden patio is the perfect place to enjoy this extensive tapas menu. From goat cheese and guava croquetas to the bacon wrapped dates—a crowd favorite—they’ve got your tapas cravings covered. The menu also includes vegan options.

El Manchego Restaurant

Since its opening in 2017, this newest Spanish cuisine restaurant has been offering customers an incredible list of tapas from meat choices to paellas straight through to fish/seafood delicacies. And of course, they have the perfect wine pairings to complement your tapas. Thursday through Sunday they host a variety of entertainers from guitar players and singers to flamenco dancers.

NIU Kitchen

Found in the heart of downtown Miami, they are a Catalan style kitchen—they mix the seasonal with the sophisticated, the local with the exotic. The tapas need to be tasted to be believed. With fresh fish brought in daily (including Maine lobster) to Spanish cheese, cured pork sausage, and farm fresh vegetables like asparagus and tomatoes, we dare you to close your eyes and just point to a tapas to order! We know you won’t be disappointed.
