Coronavirus (Covid-19) Action Plan

In these uncertain times, we would like to reach out and communicate what we are doing at the Sjh South Beach to support you and your travel plans. We are fully aware of the evolution of the COVID-19 virus and remain in permanent contact with our local health and government officials to be able to provide safety measures that will ensure the wellbeing of our guests, employees, and community here in Miami Beach.

Safety Measures We Have Taken:

• Closely monitoring CDC guidelines and revising game plans accordingly
• Close collaboration with Ecolab and Proctor & Gamble both for sanitization services and staff training
• Daily staff temperature checks
• All hotel team members are required to maintain safe social distancing (at least 6 feet) and to wear face masks at all times
• All hotel team members are required to wash their hands thoroughly at least every 2 hours, no matter what
• Gloves are to be disposed of after cleaning or maintenance of each guest room
• Each room is thoroughly sanitized after each check out (and not re-rented for at least 1 additional day after check out)
• Ample access to hand sanitizers, face masks and gloves throughout common areas of the hotel

Recommendations to Our Guests:

• Wash your hands often with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds.
• Use 60% alcohol hand sanitizer when available.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue that can be immediately discarded.
• Avoid touching your face (mouse, nose, eyes).
• Avoid shaking hands.

The San Juan South Beach Hotel remains ever committed to providing the safest and cleanest environment for all of our guests and employees. Each department is also taking additional, more detailed measures to ensure both team and guest safety is prioritized. Meticulously following any and all health officials’ recommendations in the prevention of the spread of the COVID virus in our Miami Beach community.

It is our wish to see our guests wearing face masks while moving through common areas as well as to maintain safe, social distancing.  We will be sure to have extra masks and gloves on hand for your convenience.
