Hotel Policies

It’s important to us that each Guest is given appropriate information to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Here you can find details of our Hotel Policies on items such as Check-In/Check-Out times, Cancellations, Payment, and much more. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE:

Check-in time: 3:00 pm // Check-out time: 11:00 am

  • Your credit card may be charged for your first night prior to your arrival.  This will be used as your reservation deposit and will be credited to your stay when the remaining balance is collected at check-in.  That said, if you cancel your reservation in accordance with our policies, your credit card will be refunded for these charges.

SMOKING:

The San Juan Hotel is a 100% smoke-free facility. Smoking is only permitted in select, outside areas of the hotel.

CANCELLATIONS OR MODIFICATIONS:

FREE cancellation with more than 48 hours advance notice of the arrival date. All cancellations/modifications made within 48 hours of the reservation will be charged (usually one night’s full charges plus taxes and fees). Finally, if you made your reservation through a 3rd party be sure to check their cancellation/modification policies, as you may need to make changes with them directly. That being said we are happy to assist in any way we can.

RESORT FEE:

In addition to your room rate, a resort fee of $37/day plus taxes (or, $42.18/per day) is collected upon check-in. This fee entitles all registered guests to unlimited internet access, beach chairs, umbrellas and towels (upon request), access to our freshwater pool as well as complimentary local and toll-free calls.

PARKING:

The San Juan Hotel works with a valet company that will park your cars for you. While the rates are subject to change, the charge is $42/night (plus taxes). We are also located just 2 blocks from the city garage which charges $18/night.

INTERNET:

Wi-fi is included throughout the hotel (including your rooms) as part of the resort fees.

ADDITIONAL BEDS / CRIBS:

Plush rollaway-beds can be provided upon request in Luxury King rooms only for a fee of $15/night (plus taxes). Cribs can be provided upon request for Luxury King rooms at no additional charge.

PETS:

While we love pets at the San Juan Hotel, unfortunately, we do not have the facilities in place to accommodate them. Service animals are welcome with the appropriate documentation.

GUEST SAFETY:

The San Juan Hotel prioritizes safety and security for its guests. That being said, please ensure your room door is closed and locked after entering and leaving. Please also note that there is a safe in all rooms for your valuables. The hotel does not assume liability for accidents, injuries, theft or loss due to any cause.

GUEST ROOM STANDARDS:

Please be aware that the hotel carefully inspects every room prior to guest check in and after each guest checks out. As a result, guests may be charged for damages found within the rooms including but not limited to major stains on carpets, walls or linens, and odors (i.e.: from smoking). If you notice anything unusual within your room shortly after checking in, please let the front desk know about it.
